The China Red Sandalwood Museum is housed in a building that combines Ming and Qing dynasty architectural styles. It is China’s first and largest private museum that specializes in the research and collection of red sandalwood sculptures and classic furniture. The building covers approximately 25,000 square meters and the main entrance is a wooden structure made with over 400 cubic meters of wood. The collection holds Ming and Qing style furniture, Buddhist artworks, models of ancient architecture, red sandalwood sculptures, and other artifacts.
